The incident occurred during a match between Bursaspor and Mardin 1969 Spor, when assistant referee Esra Arıkboga was knocked down by two players, who did not offer any assistance after the incident.
Despite the shock, Arıkboga was not seriously injured and continued working. The main referee, however, stopped the match, went to the sideline to provide assistance, and demanded an explanation from one of the players.
